2010 Reserve Shiraz

“Approx. 14 months after vintage, Geoff and Scott undergo a blind tasting to select the finest barrels from our McLaren Vale vineyards that make the grade for our Reserve Shiraz. These barrels are blended together in tank then returned to a variety of new and seasoned American and French oak hogsheads for additional maturation prior to bottling.”-Geoff Merrill

Wine Reviews:

96 points -James Halliday (Australian Wine Companion)

"The colour is remarkable for a 7yo McLaren Vale Shiraz of high quality. The bouquet is nigh-on perfect, still fragrant, and the wine has spicy/savoury blackcurrant fruit as the leader of the pack on its medium-bodied palate. 18 months in used French oak got it off to a flying start."
